In the last blog post, I mentioned that there are quite a few great news we were going to share with our friends soon. I guess it's time to start spilling the beans.

The first great piece of news is that on October 28-29 I will be heading to Chicago to speak at EyeForTravel North America.

I will join The Culture Trip's CMO Mike Fox onstage for a session called "Grow your Partner Network and CX Game with Amazing Destination Activities and Life Moments!".

It is an incredible opportunity and an honour to be asked to share GigsGuide's vision with so many leading executives at one of the top events in the travel industry. I look forward to discussing how live music and cultural events not only make our lives better, but they can also be an excellent instrument for travel brands to build more meaningful connections with their customers and inspire them to take more fulfilling trips (something I touched upon in a previous post on this blog ;)).

I am also very happy to visit Chicago again. The last time I was there it was in May 2017, I had just left my job as Registry Manager for .cloud and I was contemplating what to do next while travelling across the United States by train.

On that trip I was also testing the very first version of what today is GigsGuide. Thanks to one of its suggestions during my stay in Chicago, I discovered Radkey, 3 brothers from Missouri making up a really cool punk rock band.

Since that trip, I have been a devoted Radkey fan and I was really happy to see them again in Copenhagen last January.

As a passionate music fan, this is probably the one thing about GigsGuide I love the most: we give serendipity a gentle push and make it super easy for our users to discover new bands matching their taste by seeing them live during their trips.

This is also why we are super-excited about the new GigsGuide web-app we are currently beta testing and that will make it so much easier for music lovers to discover new bands when they travel.

We expect to go live with the new web-app in next couple of weeks. However, if you happen to be around Copenhagen this week, we will be giving a first preview demo at "Show & Tell night CPH" this Friday at Founders (sign up here if you want to come cheer for us :)).

We will also be making a couple of other announcements soon, so you should definitely follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin to make sure you don't miss out!
