Mölndal (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈmœ̌lndal]) is a municipality, just south of Gothenburg on the west-coast of Sweden, and constitutes the administrative centre of Mölndal Municipality. About 40,000 of the municipality's 60,000 inhabitants live in Mölndal proper.
