Derry or Londonderry (Irish: Doire, meaning "Oak Grove"), is the second city of Northern Ireland. A lot of Derry’s sights are meshed with its history; the 16th-century walls which surround the city are among the oldest and the best preserved citadel walls in Europe. It is situated on the River Foyle in County Londonderry, close to County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland.
