Černošice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈtʃɛrnoʃɪtsɛ]) is a town in Prague-West District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 7,300 inhabitants. The town is part of the Prague metropolitan area. It lies 5 kilometres (3 miles) southwest of Prague, on the Berounka River. The present-day town is made up of three historical parts: Horní Černosice, Dolní Mokropsy and Vráž.
