<div data-olk-copy-source="MailCompose">GRAMMY-award winning bassist, singer-songwriter and experimental musician from Memphis, MonoNeon returns to New Zealand for his &quot;I Want Snacks &amp; Gifts&quot; Tour 2025! </div>He is known for his presence on YouTube playing bass guitar and being one of the last people to work with Prince. It was Mono&#39;s eclectic artistry on the bass that first caught Prince&#39;s attention in 2014 - Mono ultimately began working in Paisley Park in early 2015 as the bassist for Judith Hill and in late 2015, Prince formed a new band with Mono. Mono has collaborated with the likes of Mavis Staples, George Clinton, Nas, Ne-Yo, Mac Miller, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Pete Rock, and has played at some of the world&#39;s most iconic festivals including Newport Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, Summer Camp, Blue Note Jazz Festival, GroundUp, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Life is Beautiful Festival, and more.&ldquo;From avant-garde to southern soul, funk and all notes in-between, MonoNeon&rsquo;s astounding musical range, tone and taste are always&nbsp;on full display.&rdquo; - Fender&ldquo;When Flea refers to you as &ldquo;the greatest fucking electric bass player&rdquo;, you know you&rsquo;ve done something right&rdquo; - Rolling Stone San Fran holds a Supervised License, meaning minors are welcome to attend events at San Fran so long as they are accompanied by a legal guardian at all times whilst at the venue.
