Owls were an indie rock/emo band formed in Chicago in 2001. The band was founded by Tim Kinsella (vocals), Mike Kinsella (drums), Victor Villarreal (guitar) and Sam Zurick (bass), all of whom had founded the influential emo band Cap'n Jazz. Owls, however, were not considered a reunion of Cap'n Jaz
