Italian artist, born in Puglia on May 20, 1943. He is best known as the male half of the duo "Al Bano & Romina Power", which had its greatest successes during the 1980s. He represented Italy in the [iIV Festival Internacional da Canção[/i in Rio with the song [iNel Silenzio[/i in 1969.
